Acta non verba: "deeds not words"- 2/3 of the "To see and have sight" series.

Materials used: acrylic paint and Czech glass beads.

Throughout the 15th and 16th centuries, artists and patrons have long acknowledged ultramarine blue as the most expensive blue color. Hence, it would represent wealth to the patrons who ordered its use.

When dealing with personal struggles and/or the achievement of objectives, ultramarine blue, gold, and other jewelry were used as focal points in the artwork to literally represent wealth in its most obnoxious form, in order to match the ideal that actions are far more valuable than promises riddled with falsities.
